Made it into the ground less than 10 minutes before the supporters coach. The 20 minute delay between jns 27 & 28 turned out to be 90.

Not a great half of football but we lack an attacking plan. Matt will not score goals in this set up and neither will anyone else.0-0 the best we can hope for on this showing. Agree with CS the only good stuff came from Maddox early on but he seems to have faded.

One good thing though, the sole steward left on car park duty waiting for the coach let me park right outside our end for nowt.

Matt is nowhere near the striker I thought he’d be, legs gone. Flynn loves signing older players on their way out and players who aren’t fit
Flynn is taking to many risks by keep signing older and injury prone players who used to be good

Thought Matt has had two decent chances (feel free to jump down my throat CS

Agree entirely, remember I was not happy at some of the more senior signings earlier in the season and was shot down in flames, yet he continues in the same vane. We look tired and leggy, no threat whatsoever yet again.

We’ve got two wing backs playing in Gordon and white who in my opinion are full backs in a four and never in a month of Sundays are they wing backs who can bomb up the wings and cross from the byline.

The best thing one can say of the 1st half is the Saddlers coaches arriving right before half time, they didn’t miss anything.
Once again same old story, giving the ball away time after time. Matt is up front with no service whatsoever, he definitely needs help in the next 45 minutes.
Nobody’s been bad but no one has been outstanding either. Ball retention is key in the next half, we cannot expect to win if we keep giving the ball away.

Kept off the thread as my IPYV feed is about 3 minutes behind ifollow. Surprised at all the negativity tbh. Thought we have played some decent stuff on the floor and are actually edging possession. DJ would most likely have scored one of those close range chances.
Colchester are one of the form teams in the division, so again, that has to be taken into account
Listening to the away commentary which is excellent. Blokes know they’re lower league football and are balanced in their commentary.
