D 0-0 vs Crawley Town (A) - League Two - Sat 29th April, 3pm

That was f-ing awful.

Popped off the pitch by Crawley.

I have to say that a few of us on here could have got more than 1 win in 23 out of this bunch.

I’m hoping the fans let their feelings known next week.

Mission accomplished, at least for one side. Maybe the second half was worse, but a clean sheet and a point is good. And of course some thoughts for the off season. New better conditioning physio for example. But there were worse games in this season.

Forgot we were playing, checked score, 0-0, not really bothered, only one more game to go…time for a beer to celebrate that fact :beers:

I really hope these lot don’t come back onto the pitch after FT next week to go through an end of season pitch walk.

It would be very unfair on the likes of Daniels,Hutchinson and I’d like to add Comley to that list after recent performances who have had decent enough season’s but yes I anticipate a few boos.

It was a pretty meaningless game. We are treading water until the new manager is announced by the quality of the football was much better than under Flynn, all the more so since the players have little confidence. Lots of good performances today and, unusually, a few chances. Comley was excellent and McEntee looks a revelation in that position. Monthe back to his best and the other defenders had decent games, too.

Shame we couldn’t help Hartlepool out. Who else is worried that it’s our turn for the trapdoor next year !

Painful dross. We will be down with Crawley next season.

3 seasons, 3(?) managers, same result.

Who thought it could have got worse than last season?

I’ll be there for the first time in 6 next Monday, just to make sure this sorry season is actually finished! Going into next season with little to no optimism, nor excitement. Maybe we’ll do well with little expectation

No top ten finishes in 7 seasons, not going forward in anyway & no sign of a plan or change in the boardroom. Boring, awful rinse & repeat seasons.

Still I’ll lump on. :owl:
