A really tight encounter, Crawley will no doubt be buoyed by Saturdays win and will be hell bent on unleashing further havoc against one of the divisions top sides. We will have to be at or near our best to pick up maximum points. I hope the audience will stay with the group, it will be a game if we don’t get an early goal that may require a fair degree of patience. Play anything like Saturday and we will taste defeat … I fear 0:2 to the visitors and dread to think what reaction a home defeat will bring from the few fans that have bothered to attend or stay until the end… feel battered by the current style of play and finding it really difficult to see many positives. The way we’ve been playing lately anything can happen. Sadler refuses to change things around meaning it’s easy for opponents to quickly figure us out.
I’m hoping we can shade it by the odd goal tomorrow night, we need a win to keep up with the pacesetters.
If it’s not working like it wasn’t against accrington. Sadler needs to be less predictable and show some tactical awareness , change things up formation wise as sometimes you need to especially at home to unsettle the opponents and give them something different to think about .
I thought that too, but the Christmas midweek ones weren’t, and on the Sky site it lists all the L1 games as being streamed but not any of the L2 ones.

The referee for this one is Scott Oldham from Poulton-le Fylde, Lancashire. A well established EFL official for quite a few seasons.
He last officiated one of our games back on the 18th January 2025 , a 4-2 home win against MK Dons.
His last Crawley game was in their League 1 relegation season on 5th April 2025, a 3-1 away defeat to Stevenage.
