D 1-1 vs Gillingham (A) - League Two - Sat 3rd Feb, 3pm

Another tough test for the Saddlers. The Gills have made some decent acquisitions so it will be a difficult task overhauling them…0
I would love to see Faal and Gordon get on the score sheet to open their accounts.
If they do what Sutton did last week (shutting down our midfield), it will be a long day at the office.
UTS.

Is Hutton rigbt or left sided - will he be facing Gordon/DD or Knowles/Dave?

I thought he was right sided, so up against LG

Right sided. Hopefully Gordon can get over the half way line and get Hutton going backwards.

Never going to happen whilst Sadler is still at the helm, if we had the Barcelona squad he would still find a place for him!
As someone else mentioned above Gillingham will really be going for it today and will see us as an easy target for a 3 point haul.
Sadler will be drumming it into his team what a great squad the Gills have, we must sit back, absorb the relentless pressure and hope for a breakaway goal on the 89th minute…by which time we are already 3-0 down, needless to say I have little faith in Sadler’s management…

You don’t even know what day it is, :grinning:

It’s Groundhog Day.

Again??

he’ll be up against Gordon. Should be a good battle as there was a bit of a flare up at the County Ground earlier in the season between the two.

Please take this as fair warning any who are venturing into the wildness that is Kent, you may have to cover your eyes if of a sensitive disposition:

Just fancy us for this one. Sneak a 2-1 win.

2-1 Gillingham.

Hutch for us.

There’s only one other local 3pm kick off tomorrow (Baggies v Blues derby) so I’m hoping there’ll be live commentary on our game on Radio WM. Anyone know for sure?

:joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy:… Deluded.

we’ll probably be on DAB rather than FM

Yeah we are usually on black country DAB to be fair unless everyone’s playing at the same time. Which happens rarely in these modern kickoff times.

Always seems to be a 0-0/1-1 type of game v them (although I do remember Cook scoring a hat trick in the relegation season).

Think a narrow defeat in this, 2-1.
