Inevitable Scoob

Much better 11 there, looks far more balanced than Saturday.

2-1 win please.

Shade the only loss, glad to see changes.

Apparently Scunthorpe have 6 defenders & 0 strikers in their starting XI, and everyone on the bench has played less than 10 pro games for them.

Sounds Dutton-esque.

With this line up and their side there’s no excuses here

Balls…1-2 Scunny then. :man_facepalming:

I remember they came with a pretty poor line up last season and won reasonably comfortably in the end.

No, but my best mate from schooldays was, who reports back to me, I cannot repeat his language, but it was flowery to say the least!
Hoping to get down for a match in September but I do a lot of animal charity work so cannot make games as often as I would like…but looks as if I’m not missing much currently!
Seems a better balanced team tonight, hoping for a positive result, by crikey we need it!

Much better service :+1:t2:

Where is Ladabie? Something wasnt right with him on Saturday. He was giving 100% but clearly couldn’t generate maximum power. Is he ill perhaps? Do we know which players had covid when the friendly matches were replaced with kids?

Against Palace, one of the cubicles in the gents next to the bar on the Family Stand side of the Stadium Suite was continuously flushing (presume a dodgy ballcock so it was ovetflowing). Against Villa the whole lot was cordoned off (including the ladies) by a metal barrier. Too busy up there on Saturday so gave it a miss, but today it is simply locked and the “Toilet” sign covered over.

Obviously still not fixed (after more than a month!), but a more professional way of sorting it so the casual onlooker wouldn’t even notice.

They have also got cattle barriers in use (like in tge post office) to handle the queues at the bars to stop them snaking across the whole room. Not as many in as on Saturday but again a bit more professional in the approach.

Read somewhere on here that him and Slim Shady picked up knocks which is why they both went off early - as opposed to Monthe who just played like he had.
