Totally agree. I think with Wilko it is more about the player he could have been for us rather than what he has. Obviously, the injury is unfortunate but other than a few moments he hadn’t really produced for us. Definitely not a player that will dig in when things aren’t going well either.
Shame cos the talent is obviously there.
Labadie, what a letdown he was considering the reputation he came with. You can put up with the endless yellow cards and fear of reds if a player is performing at a very high level. He was not.

I don’t think after the way injuries have ruined our season that Flynn will risk anyone who might be considered an injury risk next season, his job will depend on it next season.

Ain’t got time for sentimental crap just because he’s his mate get rid in my opinion.Blokes a walking yellow card every week.

Labadie had 1 good game away at Vale and spent the rest of the season getting booked as too slow and petulant. Waste of a captain’s wage. Release.

I agree
I’d release most our high earners who have disappointed
Like wilko is our highest earner in many many years but has not been anywhere near the value even before his injury
Unless he takes vastly reduced terms he must go to

Unfortunately ACL injuries pretty much leave you slower/less of a player than before. Ladabie was a 5 out of 10 before and is 33 in the Summer.
Wilko is younger but he is no way deserving of a deal on similar money (if he is/was the top earner). 6 month deal for him max.
Earing is a difficult one but you can’t gamble with better contracts on the proviso he ‘might’ come back to a level.
