I’m not sure they lied, although it’s not a family business but he now has a full time job outside of football

He had a part time job when he was working at Walsall. Probably had no choice but to find a full time job, everyone has to make a living.
He wanted to stay at Walsall. Why the Club couldn’t just say they wanted to go in a different direction is what I don’t understand.
I’m not gonna comment any more on this

He works at a family business I believe he owns a stake in. Which may explain the confusion.

He is probably better off with a proper job fair play to him and can still pursue the football on a part time basis outside the pro game. Youth camps with the Welsh FA ? Coach Education tutoring ? Best of luck to him whatever he does !

We have only played a few matches but we do not seem as dangerous from set plays as we were last season.

We had a few decent chances from corners Saturday didn’t we? McEntee fluffed a couple of headers when he should have done better.
We also don’t have Hutchinson now, who was the best taker last season, not that Taylor Allen can’t take them.

Not criticising Dan Watson for what he did for the Club maybe Trivela’s motives were in the Club’s best interest, bearing in mind the the performances of Evans and Smith last season ubder Watto, and so we could sign a younger more qualified person ie Dan Still who holds UEFA Goalkeeping A Licensed and UEFA B Licensed Head of Goalkeeping qualifications which attracts some of the bigger Club’s goalies to come our way i.e Simkin thereby furher strengthening our connection with Stoke. Also will help with Hornby and Barrett’s development. Cant make an omlette without cracking a few eggs !!
