Really pleased with this signing. At Leamington he really took a lot of pressure off the defence and always had time to pick out a great pass.

Stumbled across an article about Guthrie, prior to his move abroad last season he still had offers on the table from Championship.
Must have been more money I would presume?
Incidentally, his Indonesian team were relegated last season.

Potentially a great signing, very similar (although on a smaller scale) to us signing Vinny Samways in terms of the impact he could have on the team. It’ll be nice to have someone with the ability and confidence to get the ball from the back four and look forwards rather than turning back and starting again

Totally agree… An experienced pro with Premier league experience- just what the Saddlers need. Once his fitness is sorted he will be a solid,useful, addition to our midfield. I am beginning to admire the way our manager is redeveloping the team - let’s face it it’s already got more fight /hunger in it than we saw all last year. Thank God he’s cleared the majority of the squad out !
