I have to say I personally feel that without Trivela we wouldnā€™t have seen Danny Johnson in a Walsall shirt ever again.He would have been looking for a very decent deal at his age especially as it may be his last chance to get a few quid.Iā€™d say Wilkinsonā€™s old wage has gone and some.

Absolutely great news. Hopefully we can get a winger and an attacking midfielder or two in as well as a reserve keeper. Itā€™s been a very frustrating few weeks, but it seems things are starting to come together. Itā€™s the hope that gets you!

I think we can be fairly sure that Johnson has become one of the highest paid players ever at Walsall.

I would absolutely love us to be right up the top of the table this year, with a headline-grabbing DJ/DJT forward line. The journos would love it! We might even get some publicity.
