Crazy to see so many people putting down the job of DoF already before we’ve even appointed one. It makes total sense, it’s time to move into the 21st century as a football club and as a fanbase. Football has moved on.
I find it weird that on one hand people criticise the board, including me, for being people able to make good business decisions but not very good football decisions, yet now when we look to appoint someone with a football brain to be that new link between the football side and the board it gets criticised.

I agree but your talking about a manager who name was banded about for the England job and the Celtic job who’s wage demands will probably be our entire wage bill for the year.
Not necessarily so, he may well have enjoyed the building part , bonding with the lads, winning things and didn’t enjoy the premiership demands and pressures and fighting a big drop

What qualifications our board have to appoint anyone is worrying to say the least. I personally think it needs to be someone who knows the club, maybe Watkiss or O’Connor if they are even available.
