Time for a truce lads. Its New Year’s Eve and time to look ahead to January and beyond. For the first time in years we have something to look forward too with our Club and team. I have seen a few grumbles but the direction of travel is set in my view and that direction is up!!!

What a happy old year it has been for the Super Saddlers, the squad, the management and backroom staff and, of course, the Superfans - all of us but especially those who travel away and out-sing the opposition on a regular basis.

Not jumping on @Thanatos here, but he was instrumental in that win today and in helping us get over the line against Newport.
I don’t think he’s a starter in every game (especially where we might need to unlock defences), but in certain scenarios and against specific teams, he’s a great option to have.

I would, not as a starter, but games like today are perfect for him.
The back three pick themselves, so if he can’t get in there, then no harm in having him as a battering ram option in midfield.
