Slightly off kilt but I wouldn’t overlook the potential of the step over king & Afro Man.
Both had big clubs sniffing early in there careers. If I recall, Liverpool for Marshy and Leeds for Mower. We even turned a bid down from Leeds.
A move to a big club might have really kicked them on and who Knows. I have certainly seen worse pull on the 3 lions shirt.
Not being funny but I doubt England has ever played a player who is actually worse than Chris Marsh.
That’s not knocking Marshy but even the likes of Carlton Palmer were actually better players than him really, just not international standard.
