FA Cup Rd 1 v Sheppey United (a)

If it is left up to ITV we will be lucky to get highlights :joy:

I think it will be safety first with this one. Although the League Cup has brought us some glory in the past, it is a run in the FA Cup that will bring riches. I suspect that the board will view that a good run is a priority and there should be no room for complacency.

There were five live matches broadcast last year, Fri (BBC2); Saturday lunchtime (BBC1); Sunday (ITV: 2 games - lunchtime and mid afternoon); and Monday (ITV4). Each club got £50k, plus prize money for the winners.

In addition, on Sunday BBC showed extended highlights of two games (£12k per club). A further nine Saturday games were featured - single camera clips and highlights (£5k per club).

Dam right we should get priority for tickets. Me and my son went to Sutton. I expect be flown to the game Wrexham style. Lunch in the nearest Michelin Star restaurant before the game then chauffeur driven limo to the game and flown home afterwards. Even that though wouldn’t make up for the Sutton experience.

Trains are not running to Billericay on 4th Nov according to trainline.
Have to go to Shenfield on the tube (Elizabeth Line) and then get a bus. :unamused:

Just looked at that, not a lot of alternatives to the route you suggested.

It’s a banana skin waiting to happen but whoever we play I’m looking forward to it assuming I can get tickets.

Hope for Billericay to win the replay then.
Their ground holds 4,800 apparently, so we should get an allocation of around 700.

Im hoping the club put on coaches as the journey to either club would be very tiring. Me and my two lads will try to get tickets if there is a coach being put on

Is this available to watch anywhere? I’d rather watch these pair than watch England tbh

I don’t think so. I found this from the local press, though. Interesting that there were 1,241 at Billericay on Saturday.
