Just an easy tie at home to get us into the next round, make some more money to help strengthen the team giving longer contracts etc, then look forward to some glory hunting
A non-league team at home should give us the best chance of going through - hopefully the better quality team, home advantage (always tricky on park pitches), and the majority of a hopefully large and noisy crowd. Plus we’d almost certainly get picked as a televised game so extra money from that.
Tamworth would have the extra benefits of local(ish) rivalry to further boost interest, and one of their key players not being allowed to play against us.
Shrewsbury…oh hang on…
There fans are fuming again want Hurst gone

Quite a few in that list! Would be good to get one of them at home and hopefully give them a bashing, then get a biggie in the 3rd round!
Away to Brackley.
Happy with any home draw - even Blues which would probably be the toughest team we could face at home. Away I’d like to avoid the likes of Barnsley, Wycombe, Doncaster and Mansfield - I reckon we’ve got about a 3 in 4 chance of getting a decent draw - so it would be just our luck to get someone bad now! - anyroad - it’s great to be in the hat for the 2nd round and I’ll be watching this eve with interest.
Draws have been ridiculously kind to us this season. In fact you could add lastyearsfirst two FA Cup draws onto that.
So we’re due a bit of a stinker.
I’d love Solihull or Tamworth either home or away.
We need money to ensure there’s no pressure in January and then to offer some juicy extensions to this lot.
If it were the Blues, I wonder what the prices would be?
Obviously it has to be agreed, so it’s not just our decision. Against Horwich the £10 meant a smaller share for them, but a bumper haul for us in terms of booze and chips.
Home against Fail or Trampmere "O"I see they they both lost LOL.
Wrexham losing to Harrogate.
Wouldn’t mind Harrogate away. Nice place to visit just before Christmas
Good job were playing them away on 21st Dec then
Doubling the chances @Andy_Petterson Xmas Shopping
I trust that we are targeting the £2m prize!
Always a fan of new away trips so away to non league for me.
Brackley (not too far) will do. Or Harborough. Or Kettering
A 30 minute drive for me.
Nice town, but can get bloody chilly in winter.
Its quite high compared to most places in England, gets very windy!
Anyone coming in December is advised to wear thermals.
Bolton looked a “stinker” first off so: almost anyone at wum.
Feel free, we’ve got them away in the league on 19th I think it is.
Edit - sorry seen the other posts now lol
Wrexham just levelled against Harrogate
