is there no championship teams this round? always thought they come in round 2 and prem round 3

I wouldn’t be surprised. After Tamworth’s heroics on Friday, I had a feeling that the Tamworth connection would continue and Jellis would pop in the winner today. I was wrong he didn’t pop it in - he hammered it.
I hate this round, with the riches of a possible 3rd round giant so tantalisingly close and banana skins in the way.

I’d fancy us against anyone at home

There are a few on there I wouldn’t fancy away, but as has already been said, you’d give us a good chance v anyone at home.

Blues at home would be interesting, I wouldn’t choose them but it would be a big gate.

Reading would be a huge disappointment…

Any League One side at home.

And for goodness sake League One, send us someone who’s a bit of a challenge!

Brackley or Gainsborough at home would be what I’m looking for.

Way this season is shaping up a third round shock v someone struggling in prem does seem mildly possible when you see how the Leicester game went so club needs to get in the 3rd round draw again and see what happens. Also would boost the kitty for January.

So no SHA/Wrexham away draw please if they both get through.

No, both Prem and Championship always only come in at R3. R1&2 is just L1, L2 and whoever is left of the minnows.

Tamworth Away for obvious reasons. Knowing our look it will be Stockport or Mansfield away.
