Just a reminder that the draw for Round 2 is on ITV1 and ITV X tomorrow at 2:30 immediately after the Chesterfield / Pompey game. I think the BBC might also be streaming it online.
Who do you fancy? Non-league again? Aldershot anyone? or Ramsgate? Or a Staffordshire Derby: Vale or Burton at home?
And what will be the TV picks? In addition to Wrexham, who else will make £60,000 + TV money?
Always dislike R2, less of the magic of R1, more of an opportunity to get the likes of Barnsley or Charlton away and lose out on a potential juicy R3 tie.
Chester or York away would be lovely though.
Flynn (How it was supposed to be): ‘No Swindon Town players will be ‘taking the FA Cup lightly’…’
Flynn (How it turned out): “The first half is the worst I’ve been involved in at any level.”
Lots of ex Walsall angry mangers about .Darrell Clarke today quote.
“It’s a woeful, embarrassing performance… I have to choose my words very carefully because I am very angry at the minute and I want to make sure I don’t chuck too many people under the bus “
Scarborough - not sure why just fancy them, must be all the talk of Chips on UTS and old McCain Stadium
Shrewsbury, Port Vale or Ramsgate at home please.
Chester/York or Alfreton away
Wrexham at home
Get another huge attendance and the money that brings , maybe the cameras again and nice to play against the big boys
Somebody we can beat, at home!
Teams and ball numbers.
Take your pick!
£67 grand for winners of this round!

Charlton Athletic or Cray Valley (PM)
Crewe Alexandra or Derby County
Barnsley or Horsham
Port Vale or Burton Albion
Peterborough United or Salford City
Doncaster Rovers or Accrington Stanley
Chester or York City
Scarborough Athletic or Forest Green Rovers
The 20 ties in the second round proper will take place across the weekend of Saturday 2 December, and the winning sides will take home £67,000 from the competition’s prize fund.
Another Bye would be nice.
@TheRedPrince on this.
Round two is something to be navigated rather than enjoy. Even an on paper good match at home E.g Vale, would still struggle to attract more than our average league home attendance.
Therefore the best bet is as easier a passage as possible.
Agreed. Someone relatively shite at home is best
Haven’t had much luck over the years with this draw.Lets have Ramsgate or Alfreton at home!!!
Ramsgate would do nicely.
