I don’t think there is much rage. There are questions to be asked hopefully in a respectful manner. I think you get better answers from folk if you pose the questions in the right way. I cannot be there because I have key bowls match and then a Church Council meeting otherwise I would have asked the key questions about the budget and player recruitment. I would also liked to have met the new Chief Executive. It will interesting to read what folk think of him.
I think you may know way more than I do about accounts (If my memory is correct)
Isn’t the salary of the highest paid director shown in the accounts?
I can’t recall seeing it in our accounts, but may have missed it.
Definitely seen it in other clubs accounts though.
From what I read a few months ago, the heiracy at Morecambe and the supporters thought highly of him and were sad to hear he was moving on, so that ticked a few boxes for me. The proof, however, will be in the eating so let’s give the guy some breathing space for a change
Yes It was disclosed Note 9 to the accounts - Only Gamble and Mole paid I belive - Gamble being the highest.
Gamble £136,000 plus £16,000 pension contribution
Mole £91,000 plus £4,000 pension contributions.
Nice work if you can get it.
According to the club site, Mole’s old role (Club Secretary) is no longer one of the directors. So I assume it’ll only show the CEO’s salary going forward.
The 2024 accounts should show the salaries of Gamble and Mole up to when their directorship ceased ( in Mole’s case) as Gamble is still a director. Ben Sadler’s salaries will be there from the date he was appointed.
Mole was the Club Secretary but that is a nominal title but he was a director. Gamble is both the company secretary and a director
It will be interesting to see if they are transparent by disclosing any transactions with Trivela in the “Related Party Transactions” note at the end of the accounts although as a small group there is a specific exemption not to do so. I’d like to know if any money finds its way back to Trivela to fund their costs of Boycott and Gamble etc.
I was more making the point that Mole’s replacement (Nick Adshead) is still Club Secretary but not a director.
Undecided wether to go or not. If I do Iwill wear a nofo cap and a white/black watch, come say hello.
What else you going to do on a Thursday night
My last night off before staying at work for 4 days straight
Fair play. I always attend these things and find them good. Yeah there is some self promotion and appeasement but in my opinion those there seem to answer the questions posed to them. There’s always some stupid questions as well.
Just want a drink of nofo pilsner tbh
I’ll be there
You should wear a wig and carry a tickling stick, then everyone would recognise you
Very true
I wonder if there is a free drink for those attending. If there isn’t that’s poor!
Only for a tight arse something for nothing like yow
Don’t worry. He rarely attends a game, he won’t be at the forum.
Serious question. Is it only for those crazy enough to have bought a season ticket or are all invited
All welcome.
