Fleetwood (A) - League Two - Jan 28th 7.45pm

I’ve had to turn it off. Had enough of us lumping it straight out of play.

We do look shit up front but the rest of the team look equally abject too.

Unless DJ is going to conjure up something of his own making, not sure what those changes are looking to achieve. :man_shrugging:

Created very little in terms of chances both on Saturday and so far tonight

Awful timing for the defence to go off the boil when we lose our front two strikers.

We were never going to keep on winning, but this performance is really weak.

Without height up front and more legs in midfield we’re firing more blanks than me

Probably still feeling the effects of his virus.

We lost Lowe, Hall, Earing and now Matt.

It’s hardly surprising that we are struggling, we had to strengthen the minute Lowe went.

Hopefully this is a blip.

The sudden collapse of form, confidence and energy is alarming.

Can’t see us scoring again :sob:

I can’t see it being reversed without some serious reinforcements.

I’ve noticed in recent seasons our blips tend to be “worst runs in our history” kind of blips.

Agreed. Trying not to read too much into it.

We look dreadful - no creativity at all.

As said earlier by someone else, long ball is fine if you have the right players to do it.

Be interesting to see how it works going forward if we don’t have them as there’s not a chance the tactics will change.

Both Westie, urgent work needed before the weekend. I get we have a points advantage but that can quickly evaporate…ask the Newcastle fans about that season. Doesn’t happen very often because there aren’t many seasons where teams go this far clear but we aint achieved anything yet.
Need to get a grip, it is not the defeats for me, we just dont look the same team that played MK Dons.

That’s what I’m dreading. We love a good winless run. Really hope this isn’t the start

We’ve got some serious work to do in the next few days if Ben Sadler’s claims of coming out of Jan as strong if not stronger are true

It’s the manner of the last 1.75 games thats alarming. That should sound some serious alarms in bescot towers

What we saying? 3 players?

A solid forward, two midfielders?

As you say, lots of work to do, which is surprising we’ve left it so late. Hope it’s not a case of complacency cos if we lose Matt for a period of time we will really struggle
