I was at a football conference on Wednesday talking to young footballers about the possibility of a career in music if football doesn’t work out.
Crewe Alex walked round and I said - you guys are in the same division as my team. They asked who that is and I said Walsall. They looked shocked and said you lot are crazy, your fans were spitting at us at our place earlier this season. Cue obvious stick from everyone on my stall.
Didn’t learn my lesson and told Northampton players the same. Apparently a couple of years ago we put windows through on one of the coaches they were on.
