I am probably in a small minority but I like these games against the U21s. Fulham will try to play football and will have some very good players.

As for us, I expect Albert, Weir, Cleary, Earing, Maher and Hall all to start, possibly Comley and Thomas but we do need to have some starters from last Saturday, although Cleary may count as one of our 4 qualifiers.

Looking forward to it. Thomas says he’ll be involved then out on loan. I also think Dj will start or certainly get a half. Nice to see some of the depth we have in the squad

It’s the “EFL” Trophy.
Sorry to be picky.

Thought it was the BSM trophy

I care. Unfortunately, I can’t go as I’m not too well. I think my boys are going with their Mom though.

Hoping for a win to almost guarantee we progress. A good chance to get some minutes in a few players who haven’t had many opportunities so far too.

First game I’m missing this season due to work, so will be an armchair fan for the night :grinning:

Cheers , nothing serious, but enough to keep me at home for the evening.

Hornby
Okagbue, Williams, Weir
Adomah, Maher, Stirk, Earing, Hall
Cleary, DJ

Sub appearances from Comley, Thomas

Promises to be a rollicking good game. We’re in terrific form and will fear no-one but Fulham are a highly talented and highly motivated young opponent. I’ll be enjoying this one from the comfort of my sitting room, win this and we’ve got one foot in the knockout stages.

Clearly not going to be a big crowd tonight, they’ve now shut behind the goal and will move ticketholders into the main stand. No reason given.

This is the second time this season they have sold tickets for a stand and then changed their minds and moved people at the last minute. It’s not a good look.

I’m not surprised there won’t be many there, the pricing is way off with this one.

I know a lot don’t bother with this competition but we have had some reasonable gates in it still.

Where is FL1 that those with tickets for the Poundland are being moved to?

My mistake, it’s the very corner block of the lower so there will be some people behind the goal. The point still stands though, they shouldn’t be selling seats and then moving people out of them at the last minute.

I really don’t know what our pricing strategy is.

It feels like “think of the top end of reasonableness then add two or three quid for good measure”

Thus a top heavy twenty five quid turns into twenty seven or twenty eight. Fifteen becomes seventeen and so on.

Should be £10, £5, £1 (adults, pensioners, kids) tonight. Tonight’s prices more suitable for next week’s cup game.
