Glad you did a poll on who booed and who didn’t. Sounded more than that to me. Don’t pull a muscle patting yourself on the back though.

Bradford fans also said it was the best they’d played this season against us, same with Colchester too.

Always wondered if MS prefers him in midfield for an extra man to defend set pieces, I think sometimes he leaves Jamma on too long for the same reason and could be a factor in DJ barely getting minutes too.

I agree though why are we moving Jellis to accommodate it, both him and Barrett suffer.
Surely Mcentee can just play on the left if he really wants him in.

Hopefully Gordon’s Injury means we start with a better strike force for the rest of the season .
How dj gets no chances is crazy considering he is our only player other than Matt who even knows what a goal is
Gordon couldn’t score in a series of desperate housewives !
Glad people are finally realising that simkin is no where near ready. Said it in September that we needed a new proper league 2 keeper and it sucks being proven correct. Hornby must start the rest of the season

Results from my poll at full time.

210 people, mostly block 1 booed. Most just left, some left early, the rest clapped… no one got off the retail park in good time.

Want it in a pie chart?

Are you able to break those results down into age ranges, gender and cultural origins please?

Yes… it’s actually easy to model the booers…

Nah you’re alright.

We play with 5 defenders on the pitch. Shouldn’t be needed.

Odd that eh?

Someone said a few days ago that they didn’t like the phrase ‘sussed out’ and didn’t believe it was an accurate reflection of what was happening - well I believe it’s a spot on reflection of what is happening…

I’m trying not to overreact but basically, teams now know how to stop us playing - coupled to the fact that we’ve forgotten how to do what we know works most effectively too (is it so obvious that I’m trying not to give the opposition too much credit!)

I suppose it was inevitable to a degree that this would happen with some teams (I expected it from the better ones…) but it’s the downturn in form of so many of our players that’s the really alarming issue… we’ve just stopped doing what we’re good at and now ALL teams we come up against seem to be having the same success!!

Not hard to play against us
Let us have the ball, and we are clueless

I don’t think it is.

He’s absolutely terrible, we should never have signed him, and he’s contributed absolutely bugger all this season, and last.

The worst thing about it is… we knew he was poor as well.

We’ve got the best crosser in the league in Albert. Although off the boil at the moment, Allen can deliver a ball in the box too. This is what DJ and Jamma thrives on. Therefore, consider a 442 .

Jamma and DJ up front

Allen Stirk Lakin Albert across the middle. Allen and Albert as wingers.

Gordon, Williams, Dave, Barret at the back.

Or could play a sweeper in front of defence. McEntee/Comley.
Then
Push the midfield up of Allen, Lakin, Jellis and Albert.

One Striker from DJ, Jamma, Harrison.

Or maybe I’m just old fashioned. Worked in Subbuteo.

I didn’t boo, but then again i didn’t applaud them off either. Felt like a defeat so i just had my head down and trudged out

Same here mate - wouldn’t boo but definitely didn’t deserve applause either… I just left feeling completely deflated

Simkin isn’t going to enjoy having a big rod shoved up his arse.

Completely agree - teams have worked it out - and the best managers have a plan B. We don’t seem to - and poor decisions on team selection are compounding the problem.

No way 343 was always the default for Subbuteo. :astonished:

Are you expecting MS to be able to do that and also consider use of loanees?
That calls for decision making with a touch of skill and bravery regrettably.

No. Let’s just go back to the old norm of playing Josh Gordon every game and Osh in midfield and leaving all the others that need resting in the starting line up whilst playing JJ out of position.
Bonkers.

Desperate for ROK to return from his break.

I thought McDonald moved on in the mid 90’s.
