I look out for their results simply because I was in the same secondary school year as their first choice keeper and played many times with him on the fields at lunchtime (useless so had no chance of ever getting into the school team).
He was on Walsall’s books during the Merson era although don’t think he played a game, been at Grimsby since 2011.
3-0 to us simply because I can’t go. In Devon for a family occasion.

My first prediction was 1-1 draw, Gordon and Ade will score, but that was too bold ;). But more seriously, I don’t have problem with average start. Relatively strong opponents, massive rebuilding job, gaffer’s teams start slowly, so it’s ok. It should be better soon, but maybe not today. More concerning is inability to score a goal. Maybe because that was tactical order before and during the game, or maybe strikers need more time, before they feel ok here. I want to see an improvement, so maybe in this game. If not, next, but time is starting to run out. Club made tremendous effort to change, but effect on the pitch will be later, or should be later.

So who have been kicked out? Gordon certainly needed resting.
Glad to see Hardy in the line up and hope Lavery is fit.
Still think we will see a regular Scunthorpe/Brizzle City scoreline.
But hoping that we will show signs of knowing where the net is at last.
