Grimsby Town (H) March 8th, kick-off 12.30pm

This, exactly.
We are where we are in spite of Sadler, not because of him.

I have nothing against Matty Sadler but I just don’t have any faith in him doing anything other than the same over and over again, like his subs. Imagine if you were Artell the Grimsby manager tomorrow when the teams are released and he looks at it and Sadler plays perhaps Ellison and DJ or DJ and Amanchi he’s going to completely have to re think how he sets up at short notice.

We’re so predictable under MS oposition managers can have a plan in advance for our subs even it’s so sodding boring under MS.

Genuinely love MS, as a player for us as well as our manager, always dignified and attuned to the human aspect of our players and people working at the club but utterly boring and predictable all the time.

I have to admit, I’m not confident about tomorrow.

All games are big games now but this one feels massive. If we come out of the next two games with say only one point or even worse none, with the Gillingham game likely to be off, the chasing pack will likely be in touching distance for the first time after that. Then the pressure really cranks up.

I’m going for a 1-1 draw, but I’m praying we can grind out a win.

Me and my boys will be there trying to get block 5 singing (no chance) Get behind the lads all you can, they need us now.

If you’re using iFollow/Saddlers+ to watch the game and haven’t had the e-mail, there is a promo code of GRIM50 you can use to get 50% off a video match pass (£5 instead of £10).

For Thursday night’s game it’s BROM50.

I guess that’s better than a GRIM90.

I do wander if it it’s worth starting without Jamma and bringing him on against tiring defences and give DJ a start

It will definitely be GRIM

I would start with Harrison and DJ.with Jamma coming on later. We will need Jamma to start at Bromley against their physical defence.

1-1. Jamma for us.

Attendance: 6,133 (891)

We’ve handed Grimsby some right good hidings lately they will be chomping at the bit to turn us over.

Is there a scenario where we blitz them off the pitch yes. We’ve got it in our locker.

Is there a scenario where H remains out the team, Lakin is benched, Jellis plays out of position and the hapless Ellis or Levi start ahead of the talented Johnson. It’s what we’ve had to put up with for a while now.

I’d say the latter is the more likely

Walsall 1-3 Grimsby

Am afraid I see a 1-2 defeat

Jamma (and Jellis) won us the game from the bench against Notts on NYD. Definitely think it’s time to rotate the squad a bit more.

Think Harrison is on 2 Goals 1 Assist from 3 starts?

Drop Stirk.
THE weakness.
Playing with 10 men.
Crazy.

Really can’t see anything but defeat - too many silly mistakes to keep a clean sheet, and too toothless up front to score many goals.

‘12 points, and we’ve fu@#ed it up…’

Yes, I agree, he’s the second coming! I’m sure he’ll fire us to promotion, but that’s not what his non-performance against Swindon showed! Jury’s out for me and I can’t see why he deserves to start ahead of DJ.

Can we please have Harry back today as we can’t seem to keep clean sheets and need a change

Not saying he is the second coming… Maybe not fair to right off a player based on one game.

I agree about DJ, but perhaps he wasn’t the sole cause of that defeat… lazy argument IMO when midfield and Jamma and Barrett were more ineffective.

Id see him start alongside DJ, would be a very energetic front line, combined they have an excellent goals per games ratio.

Oohhhh the mist is clearing on my Sadler team selection crystal ball, shock I see a change, Harrison fit replaces Albert who drops to the bench, Chang goes shopping in Brum, no need for unnecessary changes, the ball has gone misty again.

If Williams is not back In today then Sadler needs shooting.

Although I do think he might bring Williams in, and drop a midfielder for McEntee.
