I said on another thread that I donāt think we are looking to sign an out and out goalscorer and will try and spread the goals throughout the side, but I didnāt expect to sign a defender who scored 13 last season!

If all, or the majority of our signings are like this, then you may have a point.
But having these signings alongside some experienced league players and a few loans would be ok.
12 goals is some going whatever level you play at for a CB, I presume he must have played in midfield at some stage? Or he takes free kicks and penalties like Taylor?
Could be a replacement for any but letās say McEntee at this stage.

He is centre back but converted from striker, which is why he love going forward.
Him and Allen back 3 as if Allen stay.

So have we reversed the Jamma scenario.a forward who was tosh up front but useful defender. to a tosh defender whoās good up front .hope not funny tactics that Sadler bloke .
Tails and burke up top should see us get promotion.

You only have to read the comments from Chesters fans to know how highly they think of him. Usually get mixed responses from fans but all Iāve read is positively. I think this is likely to be a very astute signing. Our signings the last year have been very good on the whole.

This looks a cracking signing to me. His interview is really goodā¦reminded me a bit of the interviews Nathan Lowe gave. Intelligent, ambitious and sensible. The write up on Chester site gives me confidence we have signed a lad who will serve us well. Welcome young man.

He comes across as very enthusiastic and genuine. Great defensive game dangerous in forward positions can pass the ball whatās not to like.

For all Sadlers faults he does like a CB that can go forward (i.e Allen). I think he will fit in well.

Good mates a Chester fan, thinks itās a great signing for us. Heās known as Burkenbauer at Chester, MOTM most weeks. Class. Thinks he can go higher than League Two.
