Huddersfield Town (H) - League Cup - Tue 27th August, 19:45pm

Agree totally better
However when you can watch on the warmth of your house with your dad or brother for £15 or spend £75 for the 3 of you to go plus food and drink it’s a no brainer when money is tight x though totally agree it’s like going to the theatre vs watching the film

Other than via dodgy fire sticks IPTV, is there any televised feed for this match?

Now tv x

Is that local time or railway time?

I think we’ll “give it a good go”, but will lose.

0-2.

£12 for adults; £7 for old farts like me, so nowhere near £75

If Sky’s presentation and camerawork is as bad as it was on Saturday, they can stuff it. That was £15 down the drain.
Sky have muscled in on the EFL and are delivering an inferior product to what we had before for £££ 50% more.
Admittedly there’ll be more games televised than on iFollow, but that’s not without its cost to real fans and our diaries.

The club haven’t stated when supporters should make their way to their allocated seating, it’s going to be absolute pandemonium in the concourses between the hours of ten and twenty past seven :anguished:

True for some reason I was thinking normal
Home game prices

Luckily everyone doesn’t have the same opinion orbwe woudnt have a club to support with no income coming in.

I never said it was better and I always go when i can afford it . I’ve had a season ticket last 3 years and it’s far better live but I can see why people would pay for the tv option . Suits me especially with the kids for night games and income being low
Doesn’t mean I wouldn’t rather go live and i still do. Going tonight and went Morecambe , watched Exeter and Tranmere on now tv

Problem with a club our size is we need all the support we can get but with iptv its so easy to access and alot of fans would rather watch it at home rather than pay to go to the game.

Don’t think it will put many off watching Walsall live . Our fans are used to going to games and enjoying the football experience, very diffrent to the premiership and sky tv .
I think alot of people will be like me , just watch games on tv we wouldn’t have go to live anyway due to money , away travel , time , family etc
I rarely go away game due to kids but now I can watch from home when i have them , that’s awesome

This will be a tough match, hope we put a strong side out. Would be good to see DJ on the bench.

Was just gonna post the same. God help KC wandering round an empty undercroft not knowing when to sit on his throne

Yes sid and ivy’s caff. Around the time both teams were competing for promotion from div 4 in 1979-80. I was at that game at their old Leeds road ground - a 1-1 draw in front of 17,000 if i remember right.

I went to that game as well.
Did Ian Paul get our goal?
We took a good following, as we did a lot that season.
Pretty sure I travelled on a football special train.

I am still gutted we didn’t win the league after getting a point there.

Not sure who scored - yes we filled the away end - must have been a few thousand. Went on a supporters club coach with my dad. Was also upset we faded at the end of the season - especially losing at home to Newport.
