I am sick to my back teeth of a few regular posters constantly hating on the Saddlers and Matt Sadler in particular. A constant diatribe of criticism and negativity.
Sephiroth, Gensanx123 and Thanatos constantly criticise everything from the Team, to Matt Saddler and Trivela.
For goodness sake why do they whip up hate and negativity, what are they trying to achieve?
Perhaps they want to de-stabalise the club, perhaps they are fifth columnists, but either way please give Saddler and our team a break.
Its a new season and all the excitement is slowly being eroded by negativity. Whilst i am all for different views, please let your views be more balanced.

I have no issues with Trivela. They have done what they said they would do.
I do, however, have a problem with 10 years of decline, and us becoming a very average League two team.
Have you been over the moon and extremely positive about the last 10 years?

I don’t slate trivela btw I’ve mentioned many times they have done exactly what they promised if not better and quicker than planned and have been excellent off the field and I’ve also stayed players I enjoy watching and that they have done well eg Hutchinson , earing , Liam Gordon
But I cannot accept Walsall still being a very poor league 2 side and the club seemingly being happy with us to be so but that’s just me , you are obviously delighted In where we are as a club and that’s your right to do so

I have not been thrilled over the past few years, but by the same token I do not feel the need to critise everything that the club do. You and a few other posters have carried out a character assignation of Matt Saddler from the day he was appointed. From questioning his other business interests to his Annual holidays and attendance at any Sporting events.
The man is still learning his trade and has performed better than the last three experienced Manages that were sacked for poor performance.

You haven’t but others have and you know that. I would not go as far as the original poster but I am fed up with all the negativity from a few posters on here. Some cannot give Trivela or MS any credit at all which is wrong in my view.
I am not happy with our recruitment so far if we want to be in the top 3 but there are more players to come in and I will reserve judgement for the time being on how I think the season will go but we do have some good players and to write off the season already is daft.
The reaction to signing Josh is a good example of how some go OTT. He is hard working and committed and will do his best. Could we have done better-yes, could we have done worse -yes but some of the stuff on here is either bizarre or disrespectful . Someone actually posted something like the worst signing ever!! Utter nonsense!

No you didn’t and I didn’t say you did. Your point on his signing is also valid but you do come over as someone who criticises more than praises. I suppose I am the opposite

I’d like to wish Josh the best of luck and hope he proves us all wrong and scores a similar amount to his best season at Barrow no doubting his effort and commitment funnily enough he puts that down to Pete Wild telling him to stop running all over the place and focus on doing his work in and around the box maybe if Sadler does that we might get a different player?

Comments like this don’t particularly help. Jumping to conclusions that the club is happy to be league 2 and then because someone has disagreed with your position claiming that other fans are delighted with it.
Think he’s referring to the troll.
Don’t think there’s any problems with fans having reservations but it’s the way it’s expressed in some cases. Talking like it’s the end of the world is a bit over the top and there’s plenty of hyperbole on here that takes it too far.
I’m not particularly keen on this signing but there’s still 6 weeks till the start of the season, so it seems a bit jumping the gun to just assume there won’t be other signings and this is our strikeforce. I’ll be annoyed if it ends up being so when we start the season, but there’s plenty of time for that to change.

Trivela- acquiring the freehold, opening the Locker, revitalising the Academy (which should yield big dividends), taking the risk on appointing a young Manager and helping him to grow into the role ,recruiting a number of young and promising players from non league , better use of the loan market etc
MS- not a bad first season as a Manager. Still has a lot to learn but this season will tell us how far that process has gone.
