Is 5,000 our glass ceiling?

I think as long as that is spent on the playing side that will be hopefully accepted

Yes true looking back but close enough, about 5,200 home fans.

That’s where I generally choose to sit although my season ticket is nearer the home end due to them not offering kids STs down that end.

On the subject of other supporters, I regularly bring 2 dingle ST holders with me, one has only ever been to molineux, and is amazed at some of the disparities between us and them - the pitch when I explained we didn’t have full lighting rigs etc, the other is a bit more up to speed with stuff and watches every football match going on the box, and is more interested in us than wolves this season! I only bring them cause I socialise with them and they always fancy coming midweek probably to get out the house.

Mate you need to get some different friends… :joy:

Seriously we need to get as many through our turnstiles as we possible can, but I would most definitely prefer them to be our own supporters rather than them being supporters of another team.

Same here but I reckon if we can incentivse Mums and Dad’s to bring their kids, they start asking to come more and more then as soon as you know it we have a generational fan base as those kids reach teenage years they would start going together as mates.

Yes I get that but I think @Poloman is bringing fully grown dogheads …

Extra money from these isn’t going to make a difference now we’ve got to pay to have the ground disinfected.:joy:

I really don’t mind who comes to our games as long as they will become OUR fans on a regular basis.

It’s great having casual neighbouring fans coming once in a blue moon, but we need to generate our OWN fan base who will turn up week in week out come rain or shine imho.

I know but it was more related to someone who was on about fans of other teams who don’t come anymore. They ask me to come and although ST at wolves just go through the motions is the impression I get, one is on about bringing his daughter with him on a Saturday (she’s 6 and
Never been to a football match) I see that as a positive thing personally.

Sorry couldn’t resist … :joy: :joy:

FFS :joy::joy::joy::joy::joy: that has amused me.

To be honest I’d have been more likely to chin them than bring them to a match a few years ago but then I’d have been called a yobbo so can’t win trying to be a nice guy :joy:

Totally agree mate, and you should be trying your very hardest to get her to become a Saddler and not a doghead … :+1:

I think you lot need to form a group all meet up on some estate in Wolverhampton and knock on every door and see if you can bring “the saddlers “ into there lives make them see the light .take some old Walsall football programs with you and tell them about the God like legend players that have trod our path …good look lads don’t take no for answer and if they abuse you turn the other cheek .ps maybe forget that turning the other cheek if in Shrewsbury

I personally think its quite simple - when we’re winning matches, playing exciting football and have a chance of success the ‘floaters’ will come - when all that falls away they decide to do something else on a Saturday afternoon/Tuesday night.

Excess Gas I was told .

Getting rid of floaters is the problem, can take 2 or 3 flushes in my experience

Can be 4 or 5.in extreme cases

Are these season-long loan fans or will they be recalled early?
