I have taken the kids on numerous away days on the ISSA coach, always a top day regardless of the result.

Thanks mate looking forward to it
I thought I should elaborate on my earlier post about ISSA away travel.
It could be said I am biased as I am on the ISSA committee but anyone who knows me will tell you I am a genuine bloke who speaks as I find.
Anyone who has ever run transport to away games will know there is more work to it than meets the eye. I don’t deal with any of that personally, it is Olly and Jane who do all the hard work to make it all happen. The coaches can only run if there are enough numbers to make it financially viable, so we do rely on fans to use it to make it work.
Speaking as a Walsall fan and someone who uses the coaches I can’t speak highly enough of the away travel ISSA runs. As I said earlier it is always a great day, regardless of the result.
My two boys love it. The kids all get a goody bag with a few treats for the journey. There is usually a pre-booked stop-off. A lot of work is put into finding the best possible places to stop. There will often be food available. Pool/Snooker tables, sky sports to watch the early games. For example Salford is the next one up. Breakfasts can be ordered in advance for when you arrive. There are snooker tables, and it is a short walk to Old Trafford, I took the kids a walk down to have a look around the last time we went, which they enjoyed.
£17 to get to any away game right now is an absolute steal. Come and join us and give it a try, all are welcome.

Nice to know you’re not being biased @Blazing_Saddler …
I’m not really.
My thoughts about the day out on the coaches are my own and true as I see them, regardless of anything else.
I want to see the ISSA coaches do well also though, if not enough people use them then they can’t run, which would be a shame.
You will do well to get to any away game for less than £17, but if people don’t use it then it won’t be an option. As I said the whole point of running them from an ISSA point of view is to give fans access to away travel at a good price.
The fact I take my kids on them regularly is good evidence that they are well run as I said.

Do they still pick up in Bloxwich?
Sometimes,
Most games it is Bloxwich, Walsall, then Bescot. Occasionally it is Bescot only.
@Dhforever is your best bet to ask if you ever need to know for any particular game.

If anyone’s not used the coaches before I would certainly recommend and £17 is a great price.
I had a financial change so couldn’t do any this year so far myself and having now quit drinking the early stop offs probably don’t suit me right now, but I’ve always enjoyed the trips and they certainly make a lot of effort for the kids and to find good places to stop off.
