Jamie Jellis: Club Statement

Hedges was at Bristol Rovers for some of that period.

Shame they don’t spend the same effort stopping the time wasting, diving and feigning injury we see on the pitch.

Interesting. Very Interesting.

He was the chap at the centre of the Gabriel Sutton Joey Barton spat last year.

By that I meant similar number of bets placed, obviously completely different roles

Jellis’ last alleged offence over 18 months ago, Hedges’ last alleged offence May this year.

This case was for a Player Liaison Officer.

Interesting to see the Pacqueta case not going further unless the FA appeal against the decision I presume. Can probably afford fancy lawyers as I thought he was going to end up with a suspension.

I remember that one! Thanks for the memory jolt

I assume unless we hear anything today that Jellis is free to be selected tomorrow?

Yes, he has been charged, but an outcome is not decided until a hearing has been conducted and until that is handed down he can continue to be selected.

Assumed that was the case, cheers

Should be sponsored by Chewits. It’s a long shot but it just might work…

Does anyone knowthe date when the hearing is scheduled?

No, it is unlikely we will find that out.

It’s undisclosed

The way he’s playing, he won’t be missed!

I thought he was good against Swindon, same as all the others against Gillingham, and lively when he came on tonight.

That’s one word for it. He was only on 20 odd minutes, in that time he under hit two passes in his own half that lost possession, one to Clarke and one to Adomah. He was ghosted past despite being fresh for Stokes chance near the end of the game and he over hit a simple through ball by about 30 yards.

Not just that, I noticed him digging somebody out at one stage for not finding him on the edge of the box, which seemed extremely harsh, the pass never looked on for me.

I thought he was very poor.

Quite a bit of passing (esp in midfield) was ‘loose’ last night and looked slow (pace of ball) and misplaced - Clarke made a fair few that were intercepted and gave away possession - thankfully they were nowhere near a threat so no harm done in open play etc…

Hmm, to manage it that much in 20 odd minutes is some feat though. “No harm done” in that game, but that has been his performance level for 8 months.

Clarkes display while fresh was miles ahead of Jellis in my opinion. I didn’t realise he’s a central midfielder, looked more comfy there than Wing back. If that’s the case we desperately need cover for Barrett (again, mistakes from last season anyone).
