He’ll know he isn’t playing ahead of Hutchinson….and Earing and if either of them are injured he’s not playing ahead of Stirk….and failing that McEntee……there will need to be 3 injuries in CM before he’s even close to a start even if he’s seen ahead of Taylor Allen who’s done ok in there and RAM who would want to play in there……
Not sure it is the best place for him tbh, unless Earing / Hutch / Stirk are on the move before McEntee is back?

I don’t think we will see McEntee as an 8 again - unless in niche circumstances.
I know for a fact he was told it was daft.
That’s an interesting one for me.
Must be a very low fee as Southend are in financial turmoil and think there was a game recently where they only named 1 sub!
Good opportunity for him as without points deductions they’d be in the play offs so think they’ll seriously challenge for league return if they get a takeover at some stage in next six months.
Southend had a take over completed last month and their embargo was lifted by the national league immediately.

No one is guaranteed a place. If some of those players run into crap form then he has a good a chance of playing as everyone else does.
No chance.
Firstly those players won’t hit such crap form for any length of time to warrant it, secondly I think he’ll be way off even competing and thirdly we have nothing concrete to suggest it’s even happening.
We will await some info from westie jack. He’s the only one on his forum who ‘actually’ knows whats happening at the club.

I remember him at Millwall, there were always jokes about him having forgotten his horse etc., but I hadn’t realised he was at Salop. The last I remember he had moved to Sunderland.
Although he looks about 50 in that photo, he is only 30 and unless he has had injuries, I’m surprised he wasn’t considered capable of doing a good job for a poor Shrewsbury team.

Ah right Ron Martin has finally sold up then as he was giving plenty of PR interviews in December defending his tenure so assumed he was still in charge.
They’ve been wanting to leave Roots Hall since the late 90s so see if the takeover accelerates that ambition.
No the terms of the take over means that they remain at Roots Hall and Ron Martin gets to keep the fossets farm site he’d earmarked for the new ground so he can build houses for the council.
He’s a divisive character but he has ploughed 20/25 million of his own money into the club and won’t see any of it back……
