If Kanu goes back…
Another loan Striker to replace him and possibly another striker signed dependant on the fitness and form of Roofe.
Another Midfielder if Finnigan gets recalled.
I dont think we need to do much business in January really obviously injuries and recalls dependant, I think Sadler has done a good job rotating the squad to keep things as fresh as they can be.

I agree with you but I think another forward should be signed whether Roofe stays or not. We need cover in that area.

Add 1 more quality striker to the squad we currently have… (replacing Kanu too…if we have to…)
Add a quality CM… i wonder if Sawyers is coaching the CMs we have? Is he still training at Walsall?
Don’t think Kanu will be recalled… if Charlton didn’t fancy him for Championship at start of season, they are not going to rely on him to save them should they get in relegation scrap…he is not at that level yet ..imo ..

I’m fairly certain Finnegan will go back.
50/50 on Kanu - as others have said, he can only play for Charlton and not Championship ready. Nathan Jones though cares mostly about his job and not the players development so I think there’s a fair chance he’ll go back.
Jamma-like strikers don’t grow on trees and he’ll be hard to replace - Jamma stays until the end of the season.
So I reckon we’ll need a midfielder to replace Ryan, and 1 or 2 strikers depending on what happens with Roofe and Kanu.
Worth mentioning that our problem last January was also not getting another defender in - so I hope the club are looking at the long term prognosis for Burke, Hancock and keeping an eye on Priestly and Flint’s fitness.

Also bear in mind part of why we failed last season was because Jamma couldn’t last. Hudlin could be ideal to get us over the line given how we play.
