January - what do we need?

Spot on.We have too many who are limited to think that a couple of big signings will transform us from where we are to play off material.Unfortunately it is now about patience-lets continue to develope our youngsters and others on the books who have the potential to get us much closer to promotion potential next season. No point in using budget most decent players will be under contract and those who are not will not be attracted by what we have to offer.

We might as well get use to those reports mate there will be many more linked that go to other clubs instead of us

Rather than utilizing DC’s Bristol connections, we need to tap into the abundant resources our neighbours have available. You would think the Dean Smith could lend a helping hand given the size of the Villa squad and his WFC connections.
I know wages are a huge issue for us, but a lot of premier clubs provide financial assistance in lieu of first team experience.
We have four large clubs on our doorstep, place some calls and see if we can work out loan deals for a couple of players. It would be a good place to start.

Might as well forget about this kid to Josh March on his way to FGR

That’s that ■■■■■■ then

The football clubs too slow mate another case of we can see it before they do etc etc the whole of January’s gonna be filled with the same stories then on the final afternoon we will be picking up the scraps that no one else wants.

We need Clarke to realise coaching badges don’t win football matches on their own. He needs to decide on a clear style of play and pick a fairly constant team to fulfill that style.

STOP TINKERING!

2 wins at home tells its own story .we need 2 or 3 decent signings in January. Even if it means we have to spend some cash. Because what Pomlett has to realise is if things carry on in the same manner nobody will be renewing their season tickets and gates will be down to 3k next season.Making the budget smaller and even harder to get out of this ■■■■ league.

thats an interesting point he said 1000 more problems go away 1000 less problems mount in his interview when he took over so he must know he has to speculate to accumulate the position we find ourselves in now. if we finish the season in the bottom half i can see gates reducing a lot next season along with season ticket sales and early birds.is he relying upon goodwill to boost the budget because he doesnt have the finance to do it otherwise? i just dont know and january should tell us something.

Doesn’t say he’s on his way there at all. Just that they speculate a bid has been made.
