I think we’ve been good enough over the whole season to be top 10. We’ve beaten all of the top 10 teams apart from Crewe - but that will change on 3rd May!! Until recently, I was thinking that we would get 2-3 players in the League 2 Team of the Year - Allen, Jellis and possibly Connor Barrett. I still think Allen will make it, and Lowe would have been a shoe-in if Bobbins wasn’t such a selfish git!!

Sheron from Fleetwood I think just before lockdown? That was another anonymous loan signing in midfield which already had loads of options.
In the past it’s been a case of just sign anyone to appease a frustrate fanbase.
This is just plain negligence considering Trivela a while back went to great pains to say all signings would be properly audited to make sure they could fit into the team seamlessly.
Pressure can do funny things sometimes.

Probably was they were queuing at the wrong club!!!. Definitely cheap signings. Its the walsall way!!. If we thought the job was done, it’s ckme back to bite us in a big way now mate.

On the Jan business, i think Trivella have had their pants pulled down over the last 3 Jan’s. They need to understand, its not America. Fellow CEOs in the EFL are snakes, lying and disingenuous at the best of times. They are all trying get get the best, spend the least and offload the dross at every point. They do need to learn for the future.
If your spine is a GK CB DM CM ST, we have been loaning 40% of the spine (GK ST) for the last 2 seasons. We have to change that.
For me id also get a new assistant manager for MS, Refresh the ideas - our system wont work over 60 games in L1 (if we go up).
We also need a smaller squad where we actually use the team, not hanging on what our Daddy Bham say.

Agree with all apart from this bit. MS has the final say, if he’s relying on his assistant to put the final bits together and have the final say then we’re wasting a wage with MS. The system falls on MS and his coaching staff, not one or the other.

@DanG_WFC - I somewhat agree - If you read/ listen to past greats; yes say Cluffy was the main man - put Peter Taylor was instrumental and another example are Fergie and his rotation of assistants.
