L 1-0 vs Scunthorpe United (A) - League Two - Tue 8th Feb, 7:45pm

I suspect Joe Edwards is now worried for his job too, because Express and Star wont employ someone to cover us in non league.

It’s quite simple Stig, we replace him with one of our other strikers. We have several and they are all fit and raring to go so just…oh, hold on, I think I see what you mean.

They’ll move him to Solihull Moors.

You’re not a Birmingham Paper.

Willock can’t be worse ? Or maybe he can I don’t know , but at least his confidence in front of goal isn’t completely shot

Done with backing off. Look where it’s taking us x

Anyway, attack is the best form of defence.

Thinking about tonight, at 1-0 down in a ‘must win’ game and 1 sub still left to bring on, why on earth not throw Willock on for the last 10-15 mins. At least if a chance did actually fall to him he wouldn’t have the scars of the missed chances of the last few months and his confidence drained like Miller has?

Apparently Osadebe tried blocking you, but then he lost control of it with his first touch

One goal in our last six?

And that came off Miller’s arse :joy:

Why? What quote are you referring to? The one where I ask if anyone feels sorry for Taylor? I feel a bit sorry for him having to work with the shite Fullarton has given him. I still think both should be sacked though.

Finnaly home, Left for work 5am yesterday morning, straight from work too game in work clobber and back up at 5m again for what?

White is shocking, Shade is shocking, Labade is a prick, Miller will never score again, Wilkinson is a tit, taylor lacks any basic knowledge how too do anything by looks of it. What do we train? First 15 we pressed and done well but that was it they soon stopped that and the game was boring and stale, Was never a free kick for there goal but a nice free kick with crap defending!!! Second half we side too side back too bak and huffed and puffed with no quality too ever crave out a real goal. They was SHOCKING and down too 10 for how long and we still didnt wanna know. No one wanted too know, they was lost in the headlights…Yes i gave a huge boo, yes i sang sack the board, yes i was going mad at the the end, so fing what? after watching a team show less pride passion and desire with shite football week in week out its gunna put us all at that, its shocking it really is, how the f do you keep it locked in? Mayo was a prat after the game with his sarcistic “whats wrong” type clap and mouth words too us all. Devine went off in a right huff after some abuse some one gave him. just look like a bottom team who are void of all confidence and kowledge of a tactic they play. Its goto change now otherwise its a 100% fact we are going down, i hate the love and hope i have invested in the club it kills me.

Were shit and im sick of it!!!

I can’t think of any other player we’ve had since Mads Timm that I’ve disliked more than this bloke, I think he’s a total fake. He’d probably be really angry to get called that and I’d be happy if he’d go out and prove me wrong. The big feckin’ fake. He can shove his captains armband right up his big fake arse.

Him and white both offer fk all bar yellow cards.White today was shocking. crossing was total abis. couldnt keep his arms of his player… How the f do these make it too league players and steal a living, if im that bad at my job im on my feet n out the door but these waste of jizz get a pat on the back,

The difference between the two teams was summed up, for me, by the fantastic clearance, from practically under his cross bar, by their number 12 in the second half. A good cross had come in, from Devine I think, their keeper was out of the picture and he put his head in where it might hurt and got the ball away.
It was an excellent chance, begging to be finished off but, as has been mentioned already, I think, Wilkinson’s effort (if that’s not an oxymoron in itself) to get a touch of any sort betrayed his lack of commitment to the cause.

I think Josh Gordon would have got there … Rory Gaffney, even.

As bad a display as I’ve ever seen from us, especially given the desperate state of the opposition - even before they had been reduced to ten men.

As has so often been the case this season, they simply wanted it more than us.

Keith Hill is able to get a tune out of most teams - by hook or by crook. He worked miracles at Dale until it all turned sour but he has had his his teams up for it and fighting when they need to. The Scunny players know they are in a battle for League survival whereas we still appear either oblivious to the fact or not able to understand the reality of what that means. I agree with Taylor when he says that the players aren’t willing to take risks but why hasn’t he been able to get them to do that by this time in the season.
I’d imagine Hill has been given a free rein - taking into account the club’s poor financial position - in his attempt to turn things around. We in contrast, appear to be a team designed by a committee.
It was horrible to be there tonight - not just because of witnessing a shambolic performance on the pitch but, even worse for me, to see fans so completely disillusioned with the state of the club at all levels, unable to contain their anger and kicking off with each other on a couple of occasions.

Joe Edwards has summed things up very well
