Rubbish in midfield, Flynn’s now manged to disrupt the defence.
That ranks with Scunthorpe last season.
The thing is, we are not the sum of our parts. We have some decent players whose careers are suffering and fans are on their backs because of the failing of the manager.
One thing that Saddlers fans know, with all of their experience, is when a manager has run out of road. Flynn has, he has completely lost his way.
All that and I think tonight was the first time I’ve seen the players not trying. That’s the difference for me tonight than previous weeks and really got to start considering Flynn’s position when that starts to happen.
Anyone think Micky will be reading the riot act (1714) to the players tonight?? A dangerous game to play but that was desperately dissapointing tonight and the players have to shoulder that responsibility.
Wow, that was awful. Maybe our worst performance of the season. I wouldn’t sack Flynn but I am for the first time having question marks over him. That being said whoever seems to manage us, it’s a poisoned chalice.
White is awful, Williams shouldn’t be starting, Monthe is a good centre back but is never a full back. Yes we’ve had awful luck with injuries but I still think we shouldnt be putting in displays like tonight.
The blame lies with Flynn he was given a competitive budget and spunked it his tactics are awful team selection woeful. Bye Flynn thanks for the cup run.
A dreadful performance from start to finish. If I was a Don’s fan I would have some hope for the future as they have some good young players who wanted to win more than we did. As for us? It is performances like this that destroy hope. We were so disjointed, passing was awful, and we were outrun.
Ok, but tell me who is realistically going to want to take the job and take us forward? The answer is not to keep swapping and changing! We have had proven managers at this club that can do nothing with us!! The problems lie deeper…
Can’t see any reason that the board can be blamed for this
As said the budget was competitive , it’s how it’s been spent is the issue
There is no pattern of play other than hoof ball
Things have to change not necessarily the manager but something
It’s the perfect storm of the players being crap or injured, and the manager being too negative. I imagine a lot of that is down to confidence.
Flynn needs to get rid of the dead wood and failures like Kinsella, Williams, White, Allen, DJT, Comley, Songo’o, Wilkinson, Labadie, Stevens, etc. they are failures.
I would honestly only keep Evans, Daniels, Riley, Knowles and Hutch if it were up to me.
The rest are bog standard or non league tripe.
Flynn - needs to really get a grip now, and come out fighting because I’m afraid he’s nearly lost me. The only mitigating factor is the injuries this season - if we don’t start next season well, or don’t win again this season - sorry, but he’s got to go.
Fed up of this boring, repetitive, shite football year after year.
