L 2-0 vs AFC Wimbledon (A) - League Two - Tue 28th March, 7:45pm

I really can’t understand why anyone gives a shite about that tbf.

And that’s the risk isn’t it? I understand he read it aloud in full after the Hartlepool debacle and it made no difference.

I’d agree with all of that. Id only keep Evans monthe Daniels knowles and Hutchinson. The rest are non league standard and if it wasn’t for Dj that’s where we might be heading

AND it was years ago when we had a decent effin team :joy: we are a million miles away from that now :man_facepalming:

Darrell Clarke was a proven manager did chuff all with us , leaves and gets his next team promoted, Flynn took Newport to 2 x playoff finals .
We also tried the club legend approach in keates and the young upcoming coach in Taylor .
If we sack Flynn where do we go from here .?

Don’t get me wrong the style of play is dire and boring and not convinced I’d just him to build again in the summer but I genuinely don’t know who would want to come to Walsall at the minute
I’m pretty sure the club will give him the summer again to rebuild but he has to be on thin ice

Watched Wimbledon the first fifteen minutes and they were passing it to each other and doing triangle’s, things that we haven’t done for ages and I’m thinking why can’t we do this instead of lumping it up field every time. Can someone tell me why we play this crap season after season.

I am sorry for those of you who went. I watched it at home and it was simply awful. The most depressing thing is the inability to pass the ball accurately even when under minimal pressure. I presume Maddox and Comley were injured tonight and of course Gordon was on international duty but that is no excuse. The players picked should have been capable of something better than that. Hope you have a good journey home.

Starting Williams over Stevens. Absolutely pathetic. And with decision making like that I don’t care if Flynn goes any more tbh

Who was that?

Abject.

Both are dire.

Haven’t seen a single thing from Stevens. If he was anywhere near match fit, or likely to be, FGR would’ve kept him.

Personally feel they’ve got him off the books because they know he’s crocked, and we were the desperate recipients. Wouldn’t be the first time we’ve signed absolute dross in January, we’ve got form

Paid to watch the game again tonight, and ended up turning it off on 70 minutes.its the worse football we have played for years.hoof after hoof after hoof.not sure its even football lately, more hit and hope
Then at the back were one of the biggest teams yet cant defend two simple corners.
And why we constantly keep fielding hayden white i dont know.has a touch like an elephant and very rarely plays a accurate pass.losing the will with this team now.
To think i have a hotel booked to go watch the harrogate game, should have saved my hard earned

I still would have picked Stevens over Williams every time. Williams we know is absolutely shite. Stevens probably is but not enough game time to be certain.

Inexcusable decision from anti football Flynn that one

Doesn’t matter who’s upfront, we don’t create any chances.

Think he maybe should take a look in the mirror when he gets home.

Win , lose or draw supporters should be entertained with some attacking play. And look forward to going to watch there team.
That’s what it all boils down too . Because at the moment nowbody wants to go and watch this non league football style .

Haaland would be dire in that team. Midfield were missing again tonight, as they have been most of the season. How many openings, or even half opening were created for those up front?

Thank you. Nothing positive in 98 minutes apart from Evan’s save in the first half.
Baffling that Williams is deemed worthy of a start.
Even during our most abject performances we have a five or ten minute spell when things come together, although nothing might result from it, but tonight, nothing.

Absolutely p poor not a shot on goal only 2 headers all ffin night. How can anyone at the club defend this lot, most of the players out there tonight didnt give a toss. We havent had a decent forward of our own since Bradshaw, that speaks volumes for itself, indeed if we had one the first whiff of any cash hed be sold . Trouble for this club stems from the top do they really think season tickets will be sold watching garbage like this almost every week? In 60 years of watching them ive seen some crap and this is down there with it. I cant wait until Saturday to see what team comes out of the Merson tombola machine as Flynn has now been forced to use it to try and get some results . Im absolute fuming after that, im off for a whisky to calm down.

The shackles are off apparently.
