There is no way Boycott will get rid of Flynn. Flynn, rightly or wrongly, will just point to all of the injuries we have had to deal with and say that is the problem. Whatever the reason, I am sick and tired of every season producing boring football where we can’t score and by the end of it all the players give up and fans get on their backs so they leave to reappear elsewhere and are great. What on earth is the root cause of these consistent problems? This time next year we could have a new manager and will still be moaning about him and wanting most of that team to leave. I really think we are cursed.

Is Low’s reaction more of a reflection of the team’s attitute towards Flynn though? This isn’t a bad squad on paper - so why are we so bad?

First time I have ever missed Crewe away. Killed me off this football since the New Year. I don’t drink now but I don’t think you could drink enough anyway to make it bearable.

What’s the atmosphere towards the players and Flynn like?
I now agree with the poster regarding not playing Maher because of the current situation . Imagine being an 18 year old trying to help the team the way things are going, could destroy his confidence
