L 2-0 vs Harrogate (H) - League Two - Sat 25th April, 3.00pm

A lot of my mates at my local watched it in the bar. When I got back, I had similar comments about Jamma :joy:

It’s not that far away - EFL kick-off dates confirmed for 2026/27 season - The English Football League

I’d be really disappointed not to see some of these names on the bench (at least) today:

That’s pretty late!

I’m in the minority on here but I really do hope Harrogate beat us and stay up. With every single penny we spend over and above our turnover going on the clubs credit card, we need smaller clubs to survive. I don’t care that Tranmere are a ‘proper league club’. they are more likely to finish above us next season. UTH

Intelligent post.

I have thought similar, but don’t feel comfortable hoping we lose.

I don’t feel comfortable with anything about the club at the moment Andy.

NEVER want us to lose, I’ll be delighted if we finish the home campaign in style with a rompabs I’ll be disappointed if we lose. The undercroft will be throbbing.

No such thing as a dead rubber when you’ve got money on

Some absolute bangers to close out the home campaign.

Where’s your head at?!

Sadler, Jamille, Jordan?

All of the above?

We’re giving it a miss today - genuinely had enough given this season on top of last

I hope Trivela do something different next season because their approach clearly doesn’t work….

More ‘head of’ anyone?

Mini boycott from me. Going to Hednesford instead.

Hoping for a Kinsella and Ladabie midfield masterclass…

We are going but only because we already have the tickets. Really can’t be arsed :joy:

I’d love see Straw part of the squad today though.

We shouldn’t gloss over the mistakes made with our use of the budget but a positive end can help to add some sheen to what has ultimately been a disappointing campaign which had promised so much.

It would be lovely to end the home campaign in some style, the spectators deserve it. We should underestimate Harrogate at our peril, they have everything to play for. I think it will be a tight, tense affair but stand by my prediction of a backs to the wall 2-1 victory.

A good friend of mine, who you also know, I won’t mention him by name though. He said to me, as soon as he saw Matt’s name on the team sheet for Wembley, he knew we’d lose and considered staying in the boozer. May sound a bit extreme but he knows his football and Matt and the team did live up to those expectations.

Giving him a new deal was a superb bit of trolling.

Highlight of the day for me will be being frisked on the way in to the OAP stand.
I always keep a surreptitious Yorkie Bar (Duo) down by my nadgers as a heroic FU to Trivela.
If they ever find it I’ve got them bang to rights for sexual assault.

Bet you wouldn’t complain if it was a good looking bird.
