Been really poor. Like we are just happy to keep the ball away from our goal. Reminiscent of early season form for me.
Personally I think Earing kills Hutchinson. He’s not content to play his role and seems intent of being the playmaker. He gets in Hutchinson spaces draws defenders towards them rather than creating space.
Comley wasn’t popular but he knows his role and most importantly his limitations. He sat deep and gave Hutchinson room to play. Not seen Hutch and earring play well together yet.
Ditto Maddox when he plays in there. He has a better understanding of his role and how it fits.
Why do we persist in going long to White who hasn’t won a header! Surely someone in the team or on the sidelines can see this isn’t working and put a stop to it
I know, in the second half why don’t we try giving the ball to the goalkeeper and getting him to hoof the ball to our players all standing together near the byline and hope that someone heads it. Oh hold on, we’ve been doing that all first half.
