I put the Newport performance down to a tough away game in league two and was over the moon with a win but we looked nothing like the opening day.Then Saturday I said to the Mrs on the way back that we again looked nothing like the Hartlepool game.Letās hope we can get back to knocking the ball about sooner rather than later.

Starting to think Hartlepool were just really poor and made us look good rather than the other way round. Weāve looked very laboured going forward in games since then.

Weāre just prodding the ball 20 yards into the midfield from the back. Clarke has been guilty of doing that twice in the last 5 mins when he had a pass on to Comley who was in space. Comley went beserk the 2nd time.
Is Hutchinson better than Osadebe?
Correct no midfield, no outlet and Danny Johnson dropping deeper and deeper in frustration.

This is bad no improvement on last season. No midfield again

Osadebe would still be better even with his broken leg at the moment
I would expect with 5 subs available, we can afford 3 at half time. Williams, Earing and Knowles, maybe?

Kinsella is way to high nowhere near the ball in attack or defence.

Hutch doesnāt seem to want to be involved at all
Iād bring earing and Maher on now tbh for kins and hutch
Barrow are doing to us as we did to Hartlepool, their intensity and pressing has been impressive.
