L 2-1 vs Doncaster Rovers (A) - League Two - Tue 9th April, 7:45pm

Well if Evans had come for that we mightve had our point

I said on Saturday that the game could have gone either way, as can most games in this league. Tonight it went Donny’s way. No real complaints. We played our part and came up short.

Disagree agree about it being cold though. I’m watching on the balcony in my tee shirt and shorts :sunglasses:

Yeah we have definitely still got a chance but winning 3 home games isn’t as easy as it is said. Chances are we will draw at least one of them.

While there is hope though…

No way will 7 points be good enough from those 3. With 3 points behind (4 really with the goal difference)

3 wins to take it to the last game

Id like to say its pretty much as you were, but with Doncaster now 1 point behind us and Crewe picking up a win - i think the cards have been stacked a bit more against us if im honest.

The manner of that defeat is dissapointing to say the least. Absolutely no clue second half, almost like chuck bodies on and hope it comes good.

3 home games, 3 wins needed then?

Not out of this yet, tough ask but three home games where on the whole we have been better this season. We need to take advantage of that.

Lets get behind them for the next few matches and see what happens.

UTS.

We also have 5 more wins, with 4 games left compared to last season. We’ve also drawn 8 less.

Subs and tactics cost us. Even the worst one scored a goal, so no hope. More seriously, points thrown away. They weren’t that good, but ended with all points. That’s reason to be concerned.

We need at least 9 points at least !!! From our last 4 games more realistically we need 10 or 12 its a big ask now.

3 home games were always going to be must win regardless of tonight. Positive is ours and Crawley’s goal difference isn’t too different now, we need to pick up a win when they lose regardless which would switch the goal difference up, it’s going to be tight.

I’m still keeping positive.

Don’t expect Maz to notice that. Apparently good midfielders can magic the ball from no one and magic the ball they don’t have….too someone.

I have a feeling Crawley’s consolation goal tonight might prove to be significant in the end.

Who have they got on Saturday anyone know?

Lack of forward power cost us again .Needs to be put right next season. Its great getting goals from defenders but we also need them from the blokes up front and plenty of them. We are not good enough yet but its coming!!!

Home to Colchester

Bring back the Comsella midfield!! Guaranteed 0-0 tonight with that pairing.
Seriously though. Winning some and losing some with not many draws is far better. Crawley a good example.

Anyone who slags of hutch Hansnt a clue
What has Gordon , djt , Matt, stirk , tierney , knowles etc done over hutch
Nothing! We’d be close to relegation without him yet you love players who run around a lot yet do absolutely nothing!
Some fans cant see talent - probably the same fans who didn’t rate sawyers or adebayo
