We must average 80% capacity of away followings in the league.
Immagine if we had 80% home attendance!
As I posted above, their OS gives the away end capacity at 1200 standing + 600 seats. I imagine the seats depend on to what level they can segregate individual blocks (i.e. can they pinch any of that 600 for their own fans or not?) but no reason we can’t have the full terrace behind the goal. So will somewhere between 600 and 830 extra tickets up for grabs - any possibility of us selling out of those too?
Terrific support, and still almost 2 weeks to the same one of the most impressive away gates Morecambe will have seen.
Here’s a photo of the main stand. We have been given tickets for block A.
You can see block letter at the top of each section (A is on the left as you see it in the picture.) Block B appears to have a black netting segregation barrier running from top to bottom. So maybe we can have that part too depending on their projected attendance.
Nice stand that is. If we ever wanted to improve the Family stand somthing like that would be ideal. Nice and steep.
Exactly, that’s the way around moving it back towards the houses, which we would’nt get planning permission for, but there still maybe complaints if it was raised to a certain height.

The next two fixtures after this are Stockport and Wrexham who, by and large are favourites for automatic promotion,
This makes the Morecambe game a bit of a mustnt lose match, so I think we’ll show a bit of fight in this game.

Going on experience I’m more confident of us getting points against Wrexham and Stockport and having a complete clusterduck against Morecombe. Opening match, big boisterous and noisy away following full of early season optimism, against a team predicted to struggle… what could go wrong

I think there is always an element of lottery in the first game.
All clubs think it will be ‘their season’ , all fired up, teams getting to know each other and opposition …
