It would be typical Walsall to win this.

As soon as you think the season is over they drag you right back in.

It’s Monday, not Friday mate. Although I have spent the whole weekend out of sync because we played on Friday instead of Saturday.

2-0 loss to put the final nail in our coffin.

Walsall FC, though.

Would put Flint, Kanu and Adomah back in today.

Byfield said he rested players on Friday, but what’s the point?

Five games to go and you need points and wins, got to play your best players.

I get that you have to try and keep things fresh, but it is one of my pet hates of the modern game, managing a match or two in the future when you haven’t played the one in front of you.

You get five subs these days so can change half the outfield players. Utter nonsense, pick the team that has the best chance of winning.

3-1 win to kickstart our run that will take us into 7th place :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Especially the game we had a Friday, win that and we would have been two places higher up.

Could be the difference at the end of the season.

Here’s hoping we fields our best possible team and go all put for the win - no point doing anything else now. For what it’s worth, my team would be:

Roberts
Browne, Flint, Burke, Hancock
Pattison, Comley, Lakin
Loopy, Kanu, Okeke

Subs:
Hornby
Adomah
Clarke
Pressley
Farq
Harper
Richards (may as well have more attacking options on the bench!)

I can’t recall if Chang is injured or just out of favour, and I’d have put Barrett on the bench as an option, but he seems to be on a massive naughty step at the moment, along with Weir.
Jellis just isn’t doing enough to warrant a spot for me, although I recognise it leaves us without an option for the middle 3 in the 4-3-3 formation really.

For me

Roberts
Okeke Flint Burke Hancock
Pattison? Comley Lakin
Adomah Pressley Kanu

If Pattison ain’t fit, it’ll have to be Jellis.

It’s now or never, 3 points an absolute must. Fortunately we will be backed by another incredibly healthy away gate, Everton Andy tagging along today to cast his EPL eye on proceedings.

The referee for this one is Elliot Swallow from Lancashire. He has officiated us a couple of times at home, against Chelsea in the Vertu Trophy and the 0-0 draw with Accrington back in January this year.
Let’s see how this one goes.

He must be really looking forward to ref us again after seeing that one

Just watched the players off the coach and didn’t see Pattison or Priestley get off.

Chang, lopata and Conor Barret have travelled

If Pattison ain’t fit Courtney Clarke plays in midfield for me. Jellis shouldn’t even be in the squad

Byfield loves a shuffle around

I hope Chang is much improved than last time out because he was dreadful
