I think we’re seen as a necessary evil when running the club. Try to keep us at least an arms length away.
I still wouldn’t sack Flynn because it would scare me senseless to imagine what kind of mess we would make of the next appointment. Pomlett’s record on appointments is atrocious and the Americans are so green they are being mentored by the man with the atrocious record.
Smith was completely different in my opinion. He took over a team that was nailed on for relegation in the division above. He had his budget cut several times despite having one of the lowest budgets in the division and his best players sold.
You don’t get out of this division by building a team over years. Flynn has had almost a season and a half and we are easily as bad now as when he took over, if not worse. I wouldn’t say we had a top budget but we aren’t poorpers either.
Ive thought the last month or so matt and stevens play like there 40 years old and past it .reminds me abit like when we had steve claridge .theres got to be a striker in the youth team we could bring in for the last few games who would be dieing to impress .
I will admit I have been very much Flynn in as I don’t believe swapping and changing managers is the answer. I think we need continuity… However…. This is absolutely pathetic!!!
They are keeping me at more than an arms length now. No renewal after 25 odd years, they haven’t reached out to discover why, it is just going through the motions running the footballing side. Why should I therefore invest time and money when the return is so poor, and if Trivela, an investment company, can’t recognise and rectify that then we are fooked.
4-4-2 is literally the formation that suits us the least of all the formations in the land.
Full backs who don’t attack, two CMs who do t run pass or dribble forwards, our top scorer on the right wing, knowles has no clue what he’s doing on the left and two CFs who can’t run turn or beat players.
Honestly why is Hutchinson playing right mid in a team that plays no football? A complete waste.
