Smith was completely different in my opinion. He took over a team that was nailed on for relegation in the division above. He had his budget cut several times despite having one of the lowest budgets in the division and his best players sold.
You don’t get out of this division by building a team over years. Flynn has had almost a season and a half and we are easily as bad now as when he took over, if not worse. I wouldn’t say we had a top budget but we aren’t poorpers either.
Ive thought the last month or so matt and stevens play like there 40 years old and past it .reminds me abit like when we had steve claridge .theres got to be a striker in the youth team we could bring in for the last few games who would be dieing to impress .
Also in general, thats a big myth. Every club at this level replaces significant amounts of players in the summer.

Why should I therefore invest time and money when the return is so poor, and if Trivela, an investment company, can’t recognise and rectify that then we are fooked.
