L 3-0 vs Swindon Town (H) - League Two - Sat 7th May, 3pm

Conned once again by this useless money grabbing board!!

Disgrace of a season.

I can’t see him staying, and I wouldn’t blame him either, as long as he goes now and not mid-season like other former managers we could mention.

What makes all of this so frustrating is Pomlett doesn’t seem to be all that bothered by performances and seasons like this. I have the feeling he doesn’t ‘get’ why some of us are so upset.

I can’t believe Exeter lost at home to fail? they were awful

And that’s why Liam Kinsellas the only one that gives a shit

Together with Scunthorpe ours was the biggest loss of the day

I wouldn’t keep a single one of them.

Think that speaks volumes, how embarrassing.

I left before the players came out. I just don’t see the point of celebrating a very poor season. As for today sometimes you have to accept the opposition are better. Swindon along with FGR and Exeter are the best footballing team in this league.

We shouldn’t accept it though. The state Swindon were in and they managed to put a team together that made the play offs.

3 years into operation Pomlett and we are still tat.

I am feeling especially negative today, thank god it is all over.

Was he? He was just one of the best of a very bad bunch.

I don’t (personally) class running about tackling aimlessly as very good.

I’ll be clear, he wasn’t the worst today - probably one of the better 3 - but still god awful and very average. What exactly did he contribute apart from a few tackles ?

He contributed (not the sole cause before anyone moans) to the first half shambles by playing in a midfield leaving wide gaping holes. He’s simply not good enough to play in a midfield 2 - which is a worry, as he’s one of our ‘better’ players.

We need to redo the whole side. And again, Liam Kinsella is nowhere near the biggest problem with the lot, be he’s absolutely part of the problem.

We will not get promoted out of this league playing Liam Kinsella in a midfield 2 - or in a midfield 3 that isn’t functional.

Regarding the Bristol rovers game Scunthorpe played 9 reserve and youth players , many 1st team debut and 10 changes from last game.
They were going to be thrashed
That doesn’t sit right with me at all

Lighten up Thanny!

The seasons over. It’s a relief!

The Kinsella family have dined out on the name generally at Walsall I think. The only thing Mark did which stays in the memory is a screamer at Merthyr Tydfil.

10 if you count the FA Cup too.

Not our problem

Miller’s attempt on goal at the end summed up the season pretty perfectly to be honest.

Aimless, wayward and miles away from the target we were looking for.

Intrigued to what Flynn can bring in over the summer.
