Notts look good to be fair but our defending was bad for both goals.
Mistake to bring back DD. Dave hasn’t been good either.

Strange thing is, it’s been a nothing game. They a had the ball as per usual but haven’t bombarded us going forward. Just gifted them an advantage.
A defensive shocker by Dave who always struggles when DD is shoehorned back in and a tidy finish for their second.
We’re losing our heads a little. Can’t let frustration with officials spill over.

We have someone who can win us games from nothing not playing versus someone who could play 46 games a season and not win us one - Sadlers greatest mistake this season, and all down to being stubborn and dogmatic, doesn’t bode well.
It’s always easy in hindsight but Sadler said as much after Doncaster that he was happy to get 45 out of him. I’d understand it if we were low on options but it’s the only area of the pitch where we have multiple options in that position

It just feels like one of those days where nothing will go right. Punished for mistakes at the back, shocking myopic officials and players under performing

We are just so powderpuff throughout the team, except for Comley and J Gordon, who just dont know how to tackle and pick up bookings as a result. We need a Martin O’Connor or Adam Chambers.
Hopefully next season we will have Maher back playing left wing with licence to roam and just play with a 4-4-2…
Those defenders are too thick to play with 3 at the back and wing backs!
Actually played some decent stuff. Allen should have scored and we completely lost our cool in some time positions.
That said. Sadler’s got it horribly wrong again. How many times does he need to pick Stirk in an 8 to realise he’s rubbish there? Why can’t he see that Dave can’t play on that right side of a three? Why does Josh Gordon keep getting picked when he’s got what 1 in 18?
It’s why the jury has to remain out for Sadler. Gets as much wrong as right.

Need 3 goals in the 2nd half…Really can’t see that happening tbh.
The only saving light is Crawley are losing but Donny are absolutely killing it.
We’ve had some decent incursions - trouble is we’ve not even tested the keeper whilst at the same time we’ve gifted them 2 goals by letting them have 70% possession.
Unless we change this approach next season, we’ll suffer the same results. It ain’t gonna wash if we want promotion.

Just got back from Gib having picked a mate up from the airport. Annoying to find us losing. Even more annoying given what’s happening elsewhere .

Not sure who’s been worse, us or the officials. These are shaky enough at the back for us to get something if we get our act together, but they’d find a way of disallowing any goal. Thought again- it’s the officials.
