There have always been medical incidents in the crowd at matches, but the games were rarely postponed unless really serious like Hillsborough.

It’s irrelevant to the game yes. People have been having heart attacks at games since games began. That’s the thing about heart attacks, they can happen at any time without warning. The game never even used to stop, just carried on and the medical emergency would be dealt with.
It’s not that no one cares about the poor soul who has suffered it, they do, but postponing the game isn’t going to help them at all is it?
