None of the offers have benefited me, not that I am bothered, I don’t mind putting money in the club. If I aint got it I can’t go.
Times are tough though, and 3 home games in a week is a lot.

But obviously not for you. I hear that the price of champers is on the rise though - hard times indeed
2-1 to the saddlers be good if we can get close to a 7k gate for the last game with everything still to play for UTS .
3-2 win with a brace from Gordon and a Joe Edwards goal.
Well to be fair I paid for my entrance to the game on Saturday way back last March by committing to my season ticket at the cheapest possible price, everyone else had that opportunity also.
They don’t though.
Firstly you have to have the money to stump up, but I know several people that can’t make every game because of work, so it isn’t worth having an ST.
When we get gates of 6k + they aren’t all diehard fans, we don’t have that many.
I think to older fans who see Walsall as a 3rd teir club 4th division football can never be classed as successful. But hey similar points have been made to you hundreds of times and you just don’t get it do you?
Is the season an improvement on some of the previous recent seasons. Absolutely yes
I do get it
Your second comment is exactly what i meant though?
Also you:
Draw. 1-1.
Faal and then that fooker with a big gut to score a pen. Just to piss on any chance we’ve got.
OK. I’m on board. A successful season compared to 5 previous dreadful ones. Of course. A successful season in Walsall fc history. No way
I mean, if we get to the play offs, win or lose it, would you deem that as a successful season in our history?
I certainly would.
Finishing 8th wouldn’t as much, but it’s certainly a successful season based off the last 10 years.
I’m still happy with top 10 said that all season that’s good progress but how close we are it would be nice to make it.
2-1 to Walsall if ash Taylor plays
1-1 if he doesn’t
Cook and hutch to score
To the clubs credit they did offer a flexi ticket where you can purchase for half a dozen games at a discounted price. I won’t knock the club for the different offers and incentives, there really is something for everyone over the course of the season to enable anyone who wants to go whatever their circumstances the opportunity to go. Tomorrow is a game with a lot riding on it and I think it should sell itself, fair enough if people have already paid for the previous 2 home fixtures, 3 home games in a week is indeed a lot but given there were only 4,600 in the audience on Tuesday I don’t think there are a lot in that boat.
Can’t fault the club. My only criticism is the cost of a ticket for the occasional fan, or in my case on Tuesday a friend who doesn’t go( actually a baggies fan).
He’s been on about coming to a game for a while and fancied it Tuesday. It was £24.25 with booking fee in the cheapest part of the ground. I know we don’t want to devalue the season tickets but seems a little steep to me!
Onto Saturday- really looking forward to this one and would love it if we could put a few past them to give us as much chance as possible going into Wimbledon.
I’d personally go for Faal and DJ up front and bring Matt and Gordon on if not working. I’ve personally just stopped getting annoyed at DJ on the bench as I just didn’t expect anything different. I don’t necessarily think he should be starting every single game but the lack of minutes has been mind boggling.
Those that were saying he’s not good enough and done as a footballer clearly don’t value the importance of a natural goal scorer and forget what he’s done all his career. Top professional and have got even more respect for him this season for what he’s been through.
Let’s get the Bescot rocking, wear red, be loud and be proud and even if we go a goal down let’s keep believing! UTS
1-0 Walsall, J Gordon to score.
Also, what are the odds for DJ pretending not to hear the announcer asking him to do the crossbar challenge for the tenth time in a row
No I wouldn’t class as finishing in the 4th division (that’s what it is) play offs as a highlight in Walsall fcs history. But then I go back along way. 1978/79
A success in our recent history. The past 6 years.
Yeah. Love it!!! UTS
I’m not sure about successful, that job isn’t done yet.
Not sure I like this having something to play for at the end of the season, can’t concentrate on anything for love nor money today, just thinking about the game tomorrow. Be a bloody long week next week if we are going to Wimbledon with something still on that game
