Not one of them players on the pitch tried or gave 100% im sorry but to me thats unforgivable and disrepectful to us

Yes, I was not happy with the team, as it happens.

The reason we lost the game was that we could not cope with Harry Smith at the back, so every time they got the ball into the area it was chaos. Williams had Cook in his pocket last week but could not get near Smith.

As a Walsall fan you cling to any straw - the great Buckley team let in 8 in the Milk Cup season. I was reminded a bit today with what Summerfield said about that game, which is that you stop playing as a team and just try not to be blamed for anything, which is how I felt it was in the second half after our initial flurry did not yield a goal.

We couldn’t even score a few goals! So even the best result we could of had would of been a 0-0 draw!
I’ve not really shouted for Matt’s head but I think it’s time for a change! Maybe we need a experienced manager with a good old head

I liked the 442. But you’ve got to be able to execute. And even in that most basic of 442’s we’ve got square pegs in round holes.

He’s got a real problem with Johnson. He just doesn’t know what to do with him. You wonder whether he was a Sadler signing or a Trivela signing.

For the record Johnson has started 6 games and not started 6 games. In the ones he’s started we’ve won one, drawn two and lost three. In the ones he hasn’t we’ve won three, drawn one and lost two. I don’t think that’s DJ’s fault - I just don’t think Sadler has a scooby about how to effectively slot him in.

We created a lot of chances today. To not convert any of them is worrying.

Been coming to the same conclusion last 3 years now, hoping it wasn’t the case but all the signs are that in reality there are so many things I dislike about football now and I prefer more to dwell on past memories of my own football experiences.

Maybe it’s not for me anymore and it’s a waste of time not enjoying it.

Was this worse than Scunthorpe away under Taylor ?

We had more possession, more shots, as many shots on goal and fewer fouls. At one time Sutton had 4 goals from three shots.

By the way, there was a clear handball in the first half but the ref gave a corner.

Sad mate but i feel the same its heartbreaking it really is to see us like this hopefully the boxing can cheer me up a bit later lol.

As much as Sadler should be out on the door tonight we all know he won’t be

This is what happens when there is no investment into the football team, only the infrastructure surrounding the club

The best we can look forward to With these. Yanks. is that they find a quicker way to make the proffitt they want for. Themselves and their investors. And. leave the club.

We can only hope that true. Football people come forward i When. They. Want to cash out

Whether we will still be. In the football league. When that time arrives. Is a real concern

58 years following this great Club of ours. And it’s painful To witness. Yet another false dawn

Would the Cowleys come here….

If we are pointing out this minor error after a result and performance like that then we may as well pack up :see_no_evil:

Football or any sport really is meant to have an element of escapism to it, or at least that is how I have always viewed it.

I now find myself having to find an escape from it as it has become so depressing and predictable.

Much, much worse!

It will be interesting to see how Sadler approaches the interview tonight.

The first real ultra shocker of a performance - we were abysmal.

If he tries to sugar coat it, it will just make me even more annoyed.

17th in league two for fuckk sake.

A lot worse imho

I’m starting to wonder if the bog standard lack of knowledge of English football is an issue with the owners. Sadler was, at best, an ambitious appointment that flew in the face of logic when a team is as bereft and as in need of a rebuild as we were. I said it, almost on repeat, there is nothing wrong with rookie managers IN CERTAIN SITUATIONS. To me, this was never one of those situations.

Before fan boys get all upset about that, if you read it carefully, I’m actually saying ITS NOT ULTIMATELY SADLERS FAULT. That he may have thrived in a different set up (not unlike Darrell Clarke did, and Flynn may do this year despite losing today).

Yes he’s made bad decisions, and a couple of questionable at best signings, but that’s what an inexperienced manager usually does. He’s also made some good ones. I actually liked the Hutchinson/Knowles playing as conventional wingers shape he put together last season (and bafflingly dropped this season). I think Farquharson is a hell of a signing and he’s been bang out of luck that he’s injured.

It’s too early to say Sadler Out, in my opinion (if you look back I’ve consistently tried to give managers time, even when not liking them. Clarke for example, took a very long time for me to want him gone. I felt for Taylor and Flynn) but that performance today could be the one people look back at and say “yeah that’s where it went down hill”.

He had a lot on his plate this summer, I thought too much. The task just got bigger.

Standard.

Incredibly poor result a combination of defensive errors, poor finishing and starting formation i would say the performance wasnt the worse ive seen.

Sadler needs to identify a formation that works and stick to it must be very confusing for the players not knowing what formation or postion they are playing from one week to the next.

Sacking the manager is not the answer how are we supposed to improve and gain an identity if we keep sacking the manager, nobody expected promotion this season many of the fans predicting bottom 10 let the manager learn and improve himself and us. The other option was Alexander who joined a team with a much bigger budget yet find themselves on the same points.

Byfield to replace Saddler, not as a cheap option the right man for the job.
Mark it up.

Sadly true, it appears that our ownership are happy with this.
