There’s better pubs but they’re the other side of MK. A pain to get to the stadium from if you’re not local. For ok pubs nearby Fenny is your best bet. A lot of away fans have been going to the Red Lion the last couple of seasons. Wigan fans were swimming in the lock and cut, dirty rats.
The places I was drinking all those craft ales and sours are up in Wolverton and Stony Stratford or further north in Towcester.
Picked up three tickets this afternoon but couldn’t get three together, had to settle for 2 & 1 albeit in the same row. Was told that there were only ten left out of the 1300 allocated.
Funny story there mate I don’t very often sit in the now tile choice but couldn’t get end aisle seat in Poundland .I was just one week away from a knee replacement so needed end seat when I arrive bloke sitting in my seat so turfed him out politely sat next to his missis and got talking to her turned out to be Jackson Smiths mom and sitting next to her was Jackson just signed that day .lovely family and had great chat with his mom about Jackson and his career and time at Wolves .his old man moved to seat in front and was perfectly understanding about my need for end seat .dont know to this day how I made it to the game nearly broke my neck after leaving my seat knee gave way .
That’s fine if it ain’t a sell out in a smaller away end
I’ve had arguments with people who wouldn’t move out my seat trying to force me and my family not to sit by each other by being selfish
Best to follow Crodley’s advice and take up your allocated seats by five and twenty to three when most will still be on the lash.
Unreserved seating is the way to go, then it’s first come first served.
A couple of weeks back, my missus was having a meal with some friends at the Cock in Wellington and got chatting football with the barman who told her his son played for Walsall. She text me to ask if I knew who Jackson Smith was - and then it turned out he wasn’t a barman but the co-owner!
